SYNOPSIS |

On the 14th of June, 1987, the Greek national team’s triumph at the EuroBasket tournament incited young Greeks and drove many of them to start playing basketball. Nikitas Fotiadis, a young talented player of a little-known basketball team is noticed by an Italian trainer as a great talent and his life, and that of his poor family’s, changes over night. Sadly, this happiness does not last long and all the gifts that life once offered him suddenly disappear.

Twenty-one years later, on the eve of Christmas 2008, a run of cruel murders alarms the police. Primary investigations seem to show that the victims are not related to each other: their gender, the place where they live, their personal life, their professions and their social status differ completely. What is curious, however, is that all the victims’ bodies are placed at crucifix position and a plastic dwarf (similar to those from Disney’s Snow White) is placed nearby. Nikitas is shocked by the news. Way back in his past, he knew all the victims and they knew each other, something that the police seems to ignore. He does not dare reveal anything to anyone; he is frightened by what all this may mean. At the same time, Superintendant Sophokles Karamanos, chief investigator of the case, tries to prevent the next murder. There are seven dwarfs in the fairy tale… and he already knows four of them. Which dwarf will be found next? Who is behind the murders and why is he committing them? Is there only one murderer or are there many? And what is… Snow White’s role in this game?
