Mastro Vaggelis (Orestis Makris) works hard in construction to provide for his family and be able to send his sone Stelio (Lefteris Vournas) to university. His daughter Maria (Mirka Kalantzopoulou) dreams a better easier life but she forgets that for a girl with her background is difficult to climb the social ladder. Jimmy the son of Mastro-Vaggelis boss meets Maria and promises her that she will have the life she always dreamed of. Stelio falls in love with Anna a poor girl from his neighborhood and he plans to marry her as soon as he is done with his studies. Jimmy would put a plan together to destroy Stelios’ happiness.
