In 1935 at a town with healing waters, a doctor discovers that the waters have been contaminated are dangerous. He informs the company that used the water to fix the problem, the mayor of the town, who is also his cousin, does not want to fix the problem since the truth could harm the tourism, but it will also be very costly. The two will find themselves fighting against each other while the doctor’s reputation will be viciously attacked by his own cousin.
