At a remote island in the Aegean, where in the past it was used as a prison for political prisoners, the mysterious Flora arrives, a woman that is trying to escape the turbulent political situation in Greece at the time.

August 2000:

A group of four friends arrives at the same island from Athens for vacations. To their surprise they realize that things on this island move much slower, stores open at midnight, and any political and social issues are discussed in the heat of the moment in the open, at the center of all this is the sixty-year-old Flora.
