SYNOPSIS |

Book 1:

A serial killer is murdering women and copying unsolved women’s murders of the past. The murderer leaves “tokens” behind: clues that lead the police to arrest the perpetrators of the past. All the victims wear a pendant identical to that worn by inspector Nora Dendrinou: a calligraphic capital “N” enclosed in a house. The killer’s message to her is clear: “This is a game”. It won’t take long before Nora Dendrinou and her aides become caught up in a lethal game.

Can the past unlock the present? Can revenge bring about liberation? For sometimes “the past is yet to come and the future is not the same as before…”

Book 2:

Six young boys given names of different animals are trapped in an alternative «Noah’s Ark”. The purpose of the ark however, is not the protection and conservation of their kind or species, but rather their eradication one-by-one on live national television. When the ark’s true purpose is revealed, Nora Dendrinou and Nicolas Panagiotidis are brought in on the case. This time they are joined by Savina Marneri and Michalis Orfanos from the Cybercrime and Protection of Minors units. The case soon begins to unveil as intricately as Ariadne’s mitre. Will they all be caught within the confines of the ominous ark or will they rescue the young boys in time? Who are the victims and who are the victimisers? The guilty and the innocent?

Book 3:

Nora Dendrinou and Nicolas Panagiotidis are summoned, yet again, to dive deep into darkness and danger. To enter a place where the instinct to survive gives birth to murder and where death actually means life, and love is equal to terror, perhaps prison too. From pages of literature, the two detectives realize that monsters sometimes don’t simply jump out of the pages of books, but that the monsters are actually… the pages of books.
