Threlantonis was first published in 1932, in the book the author Pinelopi Delta is basing the main character on her younger brother. A sensitive and nostalgic trip to the careless time of childhood. This is a modern revision that kids today can relate and fall in love with this classic story and start reading on their own.

Trelantonis always finds a way to get himself in trouble. His aunt will get upset and punish him. His siblings could hear the aunt trying to discipline Antoni, and even though they will often be impressed by their brother’s wild nature, oftentimes they will want to be just like him! He would do acrobatics, take the boat and go out to sea on his own, he would mess around with his aunt stuff, Mparmpayiannis barrels, and tease King the dog!

When he was asleep, Antonis will live great adventures in his dreams!!!

Ο “Τρελαντώνης” κυκλοφόρησε το 1932 και θεωρείται ένα από τα πιο προσωπικά αφηγήματα της Πηνελόπης Δέλτα. Στο βιβλίο αυτό η συγγραφέας εξιστορεί τις απολαυστικές σκανταλιές του αδερφού της, Αντώνη, με τρόπο ειλικρινή και συγκινητικό, νοσταλγώντας την ανεμελιά των παιδικών χρόνων.

Ο Αντώνης-Τρελαντώνης έβρισκε τον μπελά του γιατί συνέχεια έκανε σκανταλιές. Η θεία τού έριχνε βροχή τις τιμωρίες. ‘Ακουγαν τα αδέρφια του κι απ’ τη μια ντρέπονταν για τις αταξίες του, απ’ την άλλη θα ήθελαν κι εκείνα να τον μιμηθούν: έκανε ακροβατικά, έπαιρνε βάρκες κι ανοιγότανε στο πέλαγος, πείραζε τα πράγματα του θείου και της θείας, τις στάμνες του Μπαρμπαγιάννη του Κανατά, ακόμα και τον σκύλο του Βασιλιά!

Αλλά όταν τον έπαιρνε ο ύπνος, ο Αντώνης ζούσε περιπέτειες κι έβλεπε όνειρα ηρωικά…
