Alekos (Ntinos Iliopoulos) is threatened by Voula’s (Maria Voulgari) brother if he doesn’t marry her. Alekos can’t marry Voula until his father gives him his blessing, and that will not happen until Aleko’s sister Annoula (Zoi Laskari) gets married. Aleko’s friend Antonis suggest that Aleko can get engaged first and that way Voula’s relatives can leave him alone for a while.
